Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
I was convicted of three felonies on the same day in 1996 but on the DOC website and on criminal background checks one of the charges has a different conviction date. This makes it appear as if I have had multiple legal issues and hurts my chances of getting a job. What can I do?

Seriously? You are concerned that dates are keeping you from getting a job? You are a convicted felon! Heck, misdemeanors alone keep people from getting jobs. With a felony your employment options are so severely limited that most felons say screw it and become career criminals. I sympathize with your situation and I don't think it right that you should have so much trouble getting a job after paying your debt but that is just the way it is right now.
