Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
Federal Drug Charge
My friend was charged with Conspiring to import Cocaine into the U.S in 1997. At that unware of the law his attorney talked him to signing a plea agreement. Afraid he never returned for sentencing. He was captured in 2007. What charges could he be facing now ?

Re: Federal Drug Charge
The original charges, of course, to which he apparently pled guilty back in 1997, failure to appear for scheduled sentencing, fleeing felon or fugitive from justice, and who knows what else.
