Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
I have heard that a "65 % law" is to be passed in N.C. this summer to allow some inmates to be released after completing 65 % of their sentence. Is there any truth to this?

Likely not, especially for felonies that fall under structured sentencing. In good 'ol boy North Carolina, you more often than not fall under the 100% law.
