Impounding of vehicle
Vehicle was towed with a charge of $100.00 and impounded with a charge of $5.00 everyday it is there. It was towed because the one driving was charged with posessing stolen property in vehicle.Everytime we contact police department no one replies so we are getting a bill run up. What are our legal rights in getting vehicle back??

You should contact the local prosecutor's office which is charged with prosecuting the case and ask to speak with the prosecutor assigned to the case and explain the circumstances of the impoundment and request that the vehicle be released.(This, of course, assumes that the owner of the vehicle was in no way involved in the crime alleged.)
And, if that fails to get the vehicle released, then you may have to hire a local attorney to file papers with the court having jurisdiction over the matter, requesting that the court order the vehicle released from the impoundment and returned to its rightful owner.
