An inmate at High Desert State Prison wants to "know what pleading guilty in the State of North Carolina means vs. pleading guilty in the State of California?

Pleading guilty is pleading guilty no matter what state. It means you are agreeing that you did what the state says you did and most importantly you are not making the state prove it with a trial.
