Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
I just lost my wallet and it had my real id, fake id, university card, credit cards, etc in it. The university police just emailed me saying they have it and to come pick it up. What will happen if I go get it? How likely is it that I will get in trouble for it?
If I don't pick it up can they come after me anyway?

The university police know who you are and if they want to charge you they can easily get you. It is probably best to go get it and if they have a concern about the fake id, turn it in and be apologetic. Don't admit anything as they have no evidence that you ever used it.
