Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
If a person gets arrested after taking responsibility for drugs that was not really theirs can the person the drugs belonged to come forward and take responsibility to get that other person released

I suppose it is possible but not likely. It was incredibly stupid to take responsibility for drugs that aren't yours but it is likely even more stupid for the person the drugs actually belonged to to come forward and claim responsibility.
