Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
The police were alled out 2 nights ago by Myself due to a domestic dispute. My boyfriend left the home before the police arrived. I told them I did not wish to press charges and that he was not a violent person, but the officer took my report to the magistrate when they then issued a warrant for his arrest for domestic abuse. Is there anyway I can have this dropped? Or how can we prevent him from being arrested?
