Re: What is a prayer to judgement?
In NC a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC)
upon entry of admission has the effect of
retaining the case in the district court
without entry of a final judgment. For traffic
offenses only final judgments can be used by
Dept of Motor Vehicles for license points and
revocation, thus the PJC no more than
two times in a five year period prrevents
points from being applied to your operators
license.
