Famous law school answer, "Depends." Secret peeping

under NCGS 14-202 says any person who secretly peeps

into any room occupied by a female person shall

be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

That's the whole statute. It doesn't say she has

to be nekkid. It doesn't say whe has to be

in a bedroom. It doesn't say what she is doing.

I suppose a person who looked int oa window at

a grand ballroom filled with people in elegant dress

could be charged. It also doesn't say where the

secret peeper has to be.

One defense is to try to get your lawyer to get her

to sort of admit she doesn't always close her blinds.

She will never admit she is an exhibitionist.

If you do not have a record look for diversionary programs

where you can avoid conviction of a crime if you

go to a class or do community service work. Then get it expunged.

Good luck. DG
