Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
My probation officer told me to come in next week to fill out a violation report and then im supposed to have court the following week which will determined if i get off probation or receive more. my question is do i have to go to jail after filling out that form or do i wait until my court hearing?

Its hard to say without more information. You can go to jail for violating probation however, there are also times when then violations are minor and probation merely wants to cut you loose and get rid of you. Most probation officers are pretty straight with the people they deal with so I'd recommend simply calling your probation officer and asking him or her straight up what the deal is and what they will recommend to the court.
