The statute dealing with expungements such as yours is here: http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/BySection/Chapter_15A/GS_15A-145.html

These are more complicated expungements since they require more than a simple SBI certification. I recommend you find a good criminal defense attorney in the county where you were charged. A good reference point is at www.NCAJ.org. This is a State wide group of trial attorneys.
