Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
I was pushed by a coworker. I punched her in the face. I presses assault charges. Then she later pressed assault and battery charges. I hired a lawyer and told him I wanted to see if he could get the case dismissed. He said he was pretty good at this. I told him I would drop my charges against her if it would help. Is there a good chance that the charges against me will be dropped or dismissed?

This is good ol boy North Carolina so it largely depends on if you are male or female. If you are female - there is a good chance. If you are male - not so much so.
