Can you renew your license if there is a warrant for your arrest in NC?

As a general rule Yes, as long as the warrant is not for failure to appear on a traffic matter. There is not any law which prevents you from getting a license, but I assume your question is also wondering if you will be arrested. I have not seen this happening, however DMV inspectors are sworn law enforcement officers, and could arrest. But I have been doing this for a long time, and I do not see that happening.
