Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
Would like to request a pardon from the Governor of NC for a non violent felony from 1986, and have it expunged from my record. Would I hire a Lawyer in the county of conviction, Wake County or resident county? Also what type Lawyer would I hire for this type case?
Thanks

It is best to hire an attorney in the county where the conviction occurred. The expungement would need to be processed there.
