I am a 16 year old female and I am dating a 17 year old male. He will be 18 before I will be 17. In the state of North Carolina, what does the law state say about sexuality between these ages?

NC statutory rape applies only when there is a larger than four year age difference between consensual partners. Sometimes parents become involved and try to invoke the laws when they don't approve of the guy, so be careful about flaunting any relationship when parents are angry.
