Simple Assault
A police pressed charges on me for simple assault because I asked my ex boyfriend to not touch my things and he picked up my shirt and I grabbed his hand to get my shirt back. The police arrested me for simple assault for grabbing his hand and pushing it away. I have an associates degree and I want to know will this affect me being able to get a job? How can I get the charges dropped? Do you think this will hold up in court? I've never been convicted of anything before and I don't know wat avenue to take to get this matter off of my record.
