unconsented phone recording

my girlfriend and i recorded on the phone by her gaurdian and she made a copy of the recording and mailed to my girlfriends aunt and i was wondering if this was punishable by law and if a civil lawsuit could be filed

No. NC only requires one person to consent, and it is fair to say the guardian consented
