Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
Vehicle versus Pedestrian
During an argument, my brother-in-law jumped in his truck, cranked it up and ran into me while I was standing in front of it. I went to the hospital and was told I have sprains and contusions to the knees. What legal action can I pursue? Is he responsible for my hospital bills and my lost wages?

Re: Vehicle versus Pedestrian
A civil action to recover your hospital bills and lost wages, etc... would be in order. However, it would depend on his version of events. i.e. accident, mechanical problems, etc.
Good luck,
