Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

Violation of Probation

Recently I plead guilty to 2 counts of Injury to Real Property to a neighbors driveway, I dropped eggs on it. The court said I could not go on their property, communicate with or be in the presence of these people.. Since that time I have moved away from North Carolina as my husband has been relocated to Maryland. I took my children back to the old neighborehood to see their friends and saw the individuals in their car and they saw me! (now they are playing games)

Today I received a call from my best friend that a police officer went to her house looking for me to serve me with warrent for my arrest for ''stalking'' someone in their family which would be breaking my probation . This is a lie and these people are sick!!! However I understand this is serious and would like to know what my rights are if they simply lie about this. My husband is fit to be tied and has had enough of these poeople who we were friends with at one time. Can I be arrested in Maryland and should I go back to NC and fight this?

What are''my'' rights?? or will I be arested as soon as I go to North Carolina?

Re: Violation of Probation

If you have been charged, sentenced or under release of bail and are outside the border of the state under which so has occurred then you are likely in violation of law. You should speak to an attorney. Joe Holthaus (410) 799-9002
