Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

I am in Wake County in North Carolina.

I am on post release supervision after being convicted of habitual misd. Assault. One of the conditions the judge agreed to in my plea bargain was to "Remit any super vision fees related to post release supervision" as my court papers state. The supervision comity is now telling me after being on PRS for 3 months that the judge has nothing to do with them and that i Have to pay the $40 a month fee's or be sent back to prison.

What can i do about this? It does not seem right that they can go against the judge's order.

Are you sure it's in the order. Judges often say things in Court that don't make it to the actual order. If it is in the order and these are the same fees that were ordered remitted and if the judge has the authority to remit them then you should not have to pay them. Otherwise you may be stuck paying the fees.
