Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
Me and my wife where Arrested over the weekend in Jacksonville, NC. The police where called out of state and no one in the house or for that matter the state called the police. But we where arrested on the count of Simple assualt for her and Assualt on a female for me. We where taken in and kept in jail for 48 hours. We got out on a secured Bond through a Bond Agent near by. Now we are trying to get this resolved with out court. I am in the military and my command is trying to help where they can. We are enrolled in Marital counseling and are trying out best to work on the problem and make things better. All we think is that the two arresting officers mis understood what we told them and took it out of praportion. I am wondering what we should do in this case because I am also still trying to get my wife home in Jan to see her dad as he is not doing well and is going in to surgury for various things. Any help and advice is appreciated I hope someone can help us out in our time of need this time of the year.

You got arrested because one or both of you spoke to law enforcement instead of excersising your right to remain silent. In any event, you now need legal representation. Our firm can handle these charges for both of you at a flat rate fee of $300. We are a local Jacksonville law firm with experience dealing with these types of issues as well as dealing with your military command. Feel free to call us at 333-9679. The Houser Law Firm.
