Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina
A few years back in North Carolina I was convicted of domestic violence I spent a weekend in jail and parole. I now live in Florida can I ever get my gun rights back? What are the chances of getting a expungment off the record or even a parole for the charge. I will fight for the right unless it is set in stone there is no way to ever get the gun rights back.

It is Federal Law that you cannot possess a gun after a State Domestic Violence conviction. If you were not properly advised of the ramifications of the plea of guilty then you may be able to overturn the conviction. If you did not please guilty but were found guilty by a Jury, your argument is gone.
