Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

2nd dui in less than 1 yr. already

If someone alread has 1 dui and has another one in less than 6 mths. plus speeding, driving w/ revoked license plus endangement totaled car what most likely would sentice be

can't afford lawyer so no lawyer will be in court...

You better think again about no attorney in the courtroom with you! The judge must weigh grossly aggravating factors, such as a prior DUI conviction within 7 years, aggravating factors, such as DWLR, and mitigating factors, any factor that mitigates the seriousness of the offense before sentencing. However, it appears here that you may be subject to either a level 3 or level 2 punishment. You would then face anywhere from 72 hours to 12 months in jail. The judge could suspend the sentence and place you on probation. I would strongly recommend you get an attorney-either appointed or retained.
