Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina
My girlfriend was convicted of DUI in NC. Shes gone to court, paid the fines, and had the 45 day suspension. She now has an interlock system in her car and was told that for the next year she has driving privileges to and from work. Then she was told by the court that she can drive between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm. Which is it? Can she just drive directly to work and then directly back? Can she go to the grocery store or the mechanic for auto repairs? How is she supposed to do all the things a person has to do in a normal day if she can ONLY drive to work and home.
