Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

wrongful motor vehicle death

My 21 year old daughter (who still lived with us) was a passenger of a vehicle which had a one car wreck in wich my daugher died. I am told that the driver had a blood alcohol of .22.

The investigation is not finished and my daughters death certificate says ''pending'' due to the investigation. What are the steps that I should take?

I'll be glad to help, but the answers you need are much more complex than can be explained in this format. To protect your interests, you need to act quickly. Access to your daughters will if she had one would help. Please call me asap.

There is nothing that you "need" to do in terms of the autopsy determining the precise cause of death. However, I would advise you to speak with an attorney about exploring what insurance coverage there may or may not be as it relates to a potential Wrongful Death Claim. I would be happy to speak with you about your claim. Feel free to call me at your convenience. 704.210.8718 Joseph Estwanik IV
