Confidentiality
My son is in the 7th grade. He is "going with" a girl in the same grade. He has a teacher that is giving them a hard time about spending time on the phone with each other after school and about spending time with each other on the weekends. The teacher told the girl that she should not be going with someone like my son because he does not have the highest of grades. Can this teacher talk about my son to this girl?

It doesn't sound like the teacher is handling this very well. I would suggest a conference with her to discuss the matter. 7th grade seems a little young for children to be "going together".
