Legal Question in Elder Law in North Carolina
caregivers
A man and a woman lived together unmarried for eight years. She was his caregiver. Is she entitled to anything from his estate? This is an estate question, but I don't see estate listed in area of law.

No. Under intestacy laws she is not. However he could have left her an interest in his will.
