Legal Question in Elder Law in North Carolina
Social Worker Compensation
My Aunt, age 98, has a court-appointed social worker. Does the worker receive pay through the State or through a percentage of her estate? Can ''said'' worker become executor of her estate upon her inevitable death and receive a percentage of the estate?

Re: Social Worker Compensation
I've never heard of a social worker becoming executor; that is very fishy and should be avoided.
