Legal Question in Entertainment Law in North Carolina

I make custom smokers and a couple of my friends wanted one. I also hand painted my favorite team's logo on my smoker. My friends would obviously buy the smokers, but could I paint their favorite team's logo on it if they provide the stencil and logo?

It would be safest for you to let them put the logo on after they get the smoker so there is no argument that you were selling the logo.
