You can't get the answer for that on here. I recommend you contact your local Legal Aid of NC office. Many offer free clinics to teach people how to file pro se.
Why would you want to do it yourself? Odds are you have no idea what you are doing. You generally wouldn't consider doing surgery on yourself or repairing your air conditioner if you didn't know what you were doing - heck, you probally wouldn't do surgery on yourself even if you did know what you were doing. So what is it about legal work that makes people think - no problem - I'll just do it myself? Besides, a divorce like you describe can be done for a flat rate fee of $395 which would cover everything needed for a standard uncontested divorce including court cost. When all is said and done, often this type of flat rate fee is less expensive than doing it yourself. Plus, you wouldn't need to go to court or travel to an attorneys office and you could kick back with the peace of mind in knowing that your divorce is being properly handled by a licensed North Carolina attorney.
