Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Back on oct my daughter took her own life. The detectives asked for a full toxicology report. They had only tested for alcohol, she was then picked up from the funeral home and brought for more tests. Still only for alcohol. We have waited 9 months to find out she was not drinking but her death certificate states. Depression and drugs. How or what can be done now?
