Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

chid visitation/custody

son and girlfriend have 2.5 year old son. Paternity established in Mass. Currently live in NC. They have lived together since before baby born. In MA lived with me and in NC live with my ex. Girlfriend is saying she wants to move to PA and take baby with her. My son does the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and works full time. She has waitressing job and doesn't help much with bills. I suspect a prescription drug problem on her part. What are the chances of my son gaining custody? If not custody, then a generous visitation. It will be difficult with him in NC and her in PA.
