At what age can a child choose which parent to live with?

In Georgia, at age 14 the child's choice becomes very influential. A judge will allow the child to make the choice unless the other parent shows that the child's choice is not a fit and proper parent.

The court will consider the opinion of children ages 11, 12, and 13, if their are other changed circumstances to justify a change of custody.
