Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Child Support

I have 2 children and my child support is current. The state of North Carolina constantly shows a $15, 491.19 arrears and this is not correct. I pay child support in Mississippi and they have contacted North Carolina and no update. Please assist

Have you sent a letter or had a lawyer send a letter regarding this, along with any documentation to support your contention that you are current in your support? You need to do this asap to avoid a warrant or further action by either state. If you need a lawyer in Michigan or in NC, please contact me - I can help you either way.

Keep in mind that even if you or Mississippi sent a letter, it could take 30 days to get it straightened out.
