Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Child Support

My husband is paying child support for a child that isnn't his. He went to court 2yrs. ago and they stopped his payment. And now they started it back up. We had a blood test and saliva test and everything was negative. How can the state make someone take care of a child that isn't his.

Re: Child Support

This definitely shouldn't happen. Even if your husband at one time said he was the father and agreed to pay, a Judge should still stop the support once the paternity test proved otherwise. You need to take all the orders you have to the local Child Support Enforcement or to an atttorney to have them reviewed.
