Criminal record

Will having a criminal record have any bearing on a custody case? If yes give examples please.

It would depend on several things!! They include the seriousness of the charge, how long ago it has been, what your life has been like since then, but mostly whether or not it would have an effect on the child. Just because you have a criminal record don't think you don't have a chance for custody. There are lots of issues that are looked at, but mostly it comes down to what is best for your child to have a stable home. Good luck.
