Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I have a daughter and there is a guy on her birth certificate that is not her biological father.How can i have him taken off?

Are you the Mom? How did that name get on the birth certificate? Usually, the Mom tells the authorities who the dad is when they fill those things out. I don't think you can change it now unless you bring a paternity action against the real dad.
