does depression = child endangerment
my husband and i are separated. he was abusive to me and threatened to change the locks on the house and i left with our girls. i went to my hometown in a neighboring state and he remained in contact with the girls. yesterday, he came to my new home with police and an order stating that because i have depression i was endangering my children and the children were taken out of my home and given to him. he is from a foreign country and i am afraid his family with take the girls out of the country. we already had a custody hearing date set for next week. what do i do now?

Without knowing _exactly_ what the Order says, it is not possible to answer that question. If it granted him temporary custody of the children until that hearing, there is nothing that you can do until then. If it did not, then you might have other options.
