Divorce
My husband and I are US citizens, however we were married in the Bahamas. Is our marriage legal here in the US and do we file for divorce here?

Yes, Bahamamian marriages are legal here. As long as you have been in NC for 6 months ( permanent residence) and seperated for 1 year you can get a divorce in NC.
