Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

divorce

I am in the military.I got married before joining but shortly after that found out he was gay. So I am trying to get this marriage dissolved as soon as possible but it says I have to be seperated for a year. Is there way around that?

Re: divorce

Based only on what you have said, I think you need to find out more about 'annulment'. That MIGHT be the way for you to proceed, I am not certain.

Go see a lawyer. Will the JAG on base be able to assist you?

Good luck to you. I am sorry, but I am at the northern end of NJ, and can not assist you.

You certainly are in South Jersey huh? I have in office in Toms River, not sure if that is close enough for you. My practice is state-wide, so it is up to you if you want to discuss your case with me.

I think you have numerous options but I would need more facts from you before I can determine which option is best.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
