Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
I need to file for joint coustody but don't know how
1 Answer from Attorneys
Not really a question but hey - this ain't Jeopardy! Anywoo, since none of you like my jokes, I'll just dispense with the legal advice. In the same way you would see a doctor if you don't know how to do your own surgery or hire a mechanic if you don't know how to rebuild a transmission - when it comes to legal problems - you hire an attorney. Usually the first thing people do is poor mouth 'I can't afford it'! Yes, you can, you just need to shop around until you find a lawyer you are comfortable with that quotes you a reasonable fee. Besides if you can't afford an attorney you don't need to be mucking about in custody issues anyway because you likely can't afford to take care of the child(ren) either.
