Why would this be at all relevant? A hospital is concerned with treating you for some malady. They do not care about your family other than as it would impact on the hospital's ability to provide care to you and possibly having another pocket to pay any bills. The only relevant person for the latter is you and anyone you are married to.

Termination of parental rights cuts off the rights between the parent and child. The children were adopted or placed into foster care and are no longer your legal children. The children would have no rights to be treated as a family member either.

Besides, most juvenile records like this are sealed and only initials of the children are used to protect their identity. No one could access those records absent a court order and I cannot envision a hospital spending money to get those records opened absent a very very compelling reason. I can't even think of what that would be - unless you have some bizarre genetic disorder which would be inherited by your children and which would be fatal or a health hazard if untreated.

So why is this an issue?
