Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
My ex husband will not have any contact with me regarding our 8yo daughter. We have set days (not legally) but i pick her up every day from school unless he gets off early. He will not contact me to let me know. He was recently married and his new wife views me as "another woman" and will not allow him to contact me via text, email, phone, nor we she allow him to meet me to pick up our daughter. We have no legal papers. We have always gotten along exceptionally well. Do i have any legal rights?

You need to file for a formal custody agreement and then you don't need to worry about lack of contact...you will have a Court order indicating who gets the kids and when. Contact a family law attorney or many Legal Aid offices in NC hold clinics to teach people how to file custody actions.
