legal control of an adult child
Is there any way to gain legal control of 26 yr old daughter is in trouble with the law and drugs

Another option would be to have her involuntarily committed if she is threatening to hurt or kill herself.
It is difficult to stop an adult from hurting themselves.
Even as his/her parent, you have no special rights over your child.

You could seek to obtain a guardianship or her person and estate, but it's going to take a lot more than that to change her behaviour.
