I live in NC, my husband and I have been married for 35 years. he recently told me that he was married for 9 months when he was a teenager. I know he was divorced once, but did not know that he was divorced 2 times. he was embarrased to tell me. on our marriage license it states that ours was his second marriage,, it our marriage legal

We have no way of knowing if your marriage is legal or not but if you marriage is not legal it is for some other reason(s) and not because he lied about how many times he was married prior.
