Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I live in north carolina my daughters parental rights were terminated today we were told there was going to be a hearing we could testify at but she was obviously lying to us i have spent more time with my granddaughter than either parent and both parties have done nothing but lie to me so i wouldnt take it to court can i still take the father to court for grandparent visitation

Unfortunately, there may be little that can be done at this point, it is unfortunate that your daughter was upfront with you. There was a hearing, but she just didn't inform you of the date. Grandparent rights are VERY limited; there is no automatic right to visitation. You need to hire a family law attorney to assist you ASAP.
