Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

hello i live in north carolina and own a home with my sister. i live in the home. she does not. she has a home equity loan on the house and is responsible for the taxes and insurance. she wants to sell the house and is threatening legal action to get me out of here and sell the house. what are my rights? she will be here in 2 weeks and will be unmanagable and will start to throw everything i have out. what are my rights? can she do this. it is so ridiculously stressful. thank you.

She cannot throw your items out. But she does have the right to sue to partition the property and sell it. If she does this, she gets half and you get half. You could buy out her half. See a real estate attorney ASAP.
