Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
I live in North Carolina and my son lives with his mother in Texas. We have a contract that requires me to pay $430 per month as i make $12 per hour. We have never been to court, San Antonio provided the conract.
Question #1. Will my child support payment decrease if i decide to go back to school and cut my hours from full time to part time? Or am i better off devoting my self to school and pay the minimum amount a father pays when he has no income?
Question #2. Do i have the right to claim my son every other year?

At this point you have to do what the contract says. You can go to court (in Texas) and try to get the obligation changed. Claiming the child on your taxes is a matter of agreement between you and the Mom.
