how long does it take for a divorce to be filed once received by the clerk of court? Meaning do you have to wait the 30 day window to show filed?

What? I think you misunderstand the terminology. A divorce is started when the appropriate paperwork and fee is brought to the clerks office to be filed. Generally, the 'filing' aspect is done rather quickly usually that same day - although I believe the rules allow the clerks office about a week to complete the filing process. Once the divorce is 'filed' it is then served on your spouse - (there are several methods of service). Upon being properly served, your spouse has 30 days to respond to it. I have no idea what you mean by 'wait the 30 day window to show filed'. If your spouse agree with the divorce complaint and has no objection to the divorce there is a provision that would allow your spouse to waive the 30 days and allow the divorce to be completed sooner.
